HALO was a female fronted, experimental hardcore punk band from Uruguay that existed 2003-2007. Self-proclaimed 'emo-core' the band has a distinctive 'emo' sound while still being highly political.

Way back in 2005 the band released their debut 7" 'Armonia para resistir' in the UK through 'Blackprint records' however the band only ever saw 10 copies of the 7" (yes ten!) and the rest disappeared along with the label. Because of this the 7" is incredibly hard to find and thus little is known of this unique band.

Catalina Records (Uruguay) and A World We Never Made (UK) have now reissued the full 7" along with additional tracks for a 10 Year Anniversary Edition on a 12" vinyl in 2015, 10 years after the original release.
Limited to 500 copies in a collaboration with 10+ DIY labels.

Halo "Armonia Para Resistir" 10 Year Anniversary Edition is officially out and available now!!!

The reissue is pressed on 12" black vinyl and includes the full original cassette tape released back in April 2004 on the A side, along with omitted track that was not present on the 2005 7" Ep version. Plus a bonus, previously unreleased "Live Recorded Session" recorded in 2005 on the B side.

If that's not enough, we are also offering 3 bonus, previously unreleased cover tracks included in the immediate download of both sides of the vinyl with purchase of the record, exclusive to A World We Never Made.
